| Land Policy development process and land reform have been on Ugandaas agenda since the early 1980s when the Government established an Agricultural Policy Committee (APC) that produced a report on land tenure and agricultural development in 1989. A major reform proposed by the Technical Committee set up by the APC, was the introduction of Freehold as a uniform principal land tenure system throughout the Country. |
