When searching for documents in the OICRF document database, you might find these
tips useful:
You can search on the fields listed above. Each field has detailed help

It is preferable to search on Abstract.
If you want to narrow your search,
you can also enter a keyword, the title or part of the title or the name
of a specific author.

Abstract is a short description of the document. It gives a global insight
into the contents of the document. In the OICRF document database, the abstract
is the field with the most data. Therefore, in most cases, it
is
sufficient
to search the abstracts.

Documents can be linked to one ore more keywords. These are chosen to reflect
the document's content. For example, a document on the educational implications
of land measuring in Southern Africa can have the following keywords:
Mostly, the keywords are also mentioned in the Abstract and Title.
By searching the keywords you narrow your search.

The title of the document as it is registered in the OICRF document database.
You
can narrow your search by searching on a specific (part of a) title.

The author is registered as listed on the document.
In case of a co-writership, all authors are listed as long as there are no
more than three. If there are more then three authors, the first author
is listed with
the
extention "et al." .
Note: an author can be listed on this website on variations of his name, for example:
So, when searching on author you can best enter the surname: "Molen" or "Martins".

In the OICRF document database, the primary language is english. Some documents
have a specific language
linked to them. This is the language in which the document is written.
So, for example a document on education in Equador by a Dutch author, written in english is listed as "english".
