A brief of Yunnan geographical information common platform and its application demonstration projects

From the 21st century, regarding digital city as the main characteristic, with the electronics governmental affairs with the electronic commerce is should by artifice of city information , is a city at new period accelerate industrialization, promote modernization, and realize stride over type premise that develop with guarantee. Geographical information common platform is the basic foundation of the digital city and plays the important roles of the Urban Informationization. According to the practice demand for geographic information of common platform, some problems of the construction of Geographical information common platform are analyzed in this paper.
