The potential and possibilities of GPS-based aerotriangulation for topographic purposes is examined by means of a test area. The measurement spots, which have been determined during the flight by GPS, are analysed and several block adjustments with few control points are executed. The results clearly point towards the usefulness of an integration of GPS-position data in the bundle adjustment.
