Base deformation measurement of nw highway bridge structures in Slovakia

This article documents knowledge and experiences from the base deformation measurement of highway bridge structures at highway sector from Hornn Streda to Hričovskk Podhradie (between Bratislava and ilina), which were step by step devolved to operation in 1997-2006. Objective measurements create necessary foundation to the inspection of each bridge structure and they are component of complex quality control, eventually bridge diagnostics. At the same time they create a base of created information system of bridge structures in Slovakia.
