Cadastre as instrument of land policy in Yugoslavia

It is evident that more and more attention to land policy has been devoted in the world as in Yugoslavia since 1990, especially in towns. After general consideration of land policy, its definition in Yugoslavia is given. The cadastre has nearly been joined with the land register (1992), and the role of the new Cadastre of Real Estate is increasing. The cadastre has got the function in preparing the other instruments of land management and then its implementation. At the same time it is obvious that land policy has had a recurrent and very important influence on the cadastre.
