Cadastre in New Zealand today and tomorrow

Stirling, Ian

With abstract in English.

The cadastre in New Zealand is based on an integrated survey system covering the country. Survey plans form the basis for land registration and titles are state guaranteed. The survey system is used for mapping, planning, land administration, engineering works, and land use. It is a manual system now being automatized to give the cadastre an even wider role.
