Construction and test report of Trimble CORS in Kunming City of China and prospect of construction for Yunnan CORS within three years

Continuous Operational Reference System is one hotspot of modem GPS development nowadays in China．Kunming is the capital of Yunnan Province of China. This city has characters of located at lower latitude and higher elevation position in geography, and ionosphere above its space is very active .The establishment of KMCORS not only brings the profound transformation for the survey profession，it will also serve for the spatial information brings the new thought and pattern． This report introduced Kunming CORS design，the composition，the construction， the function testing．According to its test result and the data analysis, how to evaluate the validity, reliability, stability, efficiency and accuracy of Trimble CORS in Kunming city and moreover in Yunnan province is now more important than ever before. The construction of YNCORS has been made prospect in near future．
