Designing clearinghouse and metadata with the best model of catalog service in PSEEZ (Assaluyeh - Iran)

Considering spatial data is growing increasingly in Pars Special Economical Energy Zone (PSEEZ) organization, as an economic pole of Iran and the need for sharing data among initiatives which avoids duplication and waste of national capital, it is considered necessity to constitute interoperability among different sections of organizations and companies. In order to constitute interoperability, a clearinghouse must be established in Assaluyeh which needs to have metadata (a widespread problem in relation to the most of organizations). Hence, the best solution is to have a metadata standard according to ISO19115. This paper deals with designing metadata with selection of 15 items according to above standard as well as investigation of problems and obstacles in GIS components of PSEEZ organization. In this research, after consideration of three models to catalog services, choose the best model for clearinghouse; (concerning the situations in PSEEZ organization) is introduced.
