Digital cadastral transactions
Wilkinson, Curt
The full benefits of digital cadastral transactions are achieved through a shared workflow between private and government agencies. Central databases, such as a title registry and cadastral survey fabric are the logical destination and reference for cadastral transactions. However, most activity takes place outside the cadastre proper. A shared digital packet of data and documents which comprise the transaction is the necessary central concept for the extended workflow. Shared software applications that can view, analyze and validate the conformance to jurisdictional requirements are essential.
