Dime variants for curvilinear networks

DIME (Dual Imdependent Map Encoding) is a process developed in 1967 for encoding maps consisting of points defining endpoints of line-segments, which in turn bound zones. Among the many maps in this class are those which define the boundaries of states, counties, towns, census tracts, city blocks and land ownership parcels.
