GIS industry in China and introduction to SuperMap

GIS industry in China started from 1980s. According to the statistics conducted by State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping, the geospatial industry is developing with an unprecedented speed, and has already expanded by more than twenty-five percent with the total output of nearly one hundred billion Chinese Yuan by the end of 2010 , and more than five hundred thousand employees. New geospatial companies are born almost every day in China now. It is expectable that, the total output of geospatial industry will be over two hundred billion Chinese Yuan by the end of 2015.
