Key issues behind sustainable land tenure and land registration

This paper presents a dissertation on land tenure and land registration in developing countries. It commences by short introduction to the dissertation structure, methods and aim. Then the research framework is presented defining the key terms and their linkages. Turning to the findings the paper shows the complexity and multi-dimensional nature of land administration, land tenure and land registration development in this context. The findings are presented in a form of discussion highlighting the key issues and main conclusions. Finally, the paper looks forward and calls for a fresh thinking and new approaches for our profession.
