Peitrequin, P.
With abstracts in English, German and French.
The surveyor's participation in land planning takes place at three levels: he provides the basic documentation which is necessary, he acts as a planner, he applies the existing planning regulations. Expert in the preparation of maps and plans, knowledgeable about all aspects of landed property, the surveyor is well placed to provide such essential information. He may act as surveyor at the level of the commune or a group of communes, either individually according to his qualification, or as a member of a multidiscipline team. His role is apparent in various disciplines. Finally, in his activity as originator of technical projects, the surveyor must often implement the provisions according to regulations concerning land planning.
