Land information system : a complex or a simple system?
Ternryd, C.-O.
The report deals with the question on the future design of databanks to be included in an effective system of information for different purposes in connection with the management, planning and development of the Society. Many of the databanks that have been developed and also taken into operation so far have become a very expensive business for the user, generally the Society. The banks have been designed too big, it is easy to procure and store the data but it is difficult to keep them updated and to get them out again when they are needed.
