Le cadastre RDPPF : un nouveau systeme d'information dans le domaine de la propriete fonciere

Miserez, Jean-Paul & Daniel Steudler

The first vision statement of Cadastre 2014 says that the future cadastral system will provide complete information about the legal situation of the territory, including public-law restrictions. The administration of reliable and public land information is traditional practice and will soon be completed over the whole of Switzerland's territory. In 1993, an important step has been taken by defining the cadastral surveying data not only as the basis for land registration, but also for any land information system. The federal "Act on Geoinformation", enacted on 1 July 2008 adds another element: the compilation and publication of reliable data of publiclaw restrictions. A new ordinance defining the details will probably be enacted in July 2009. The work carried out over the last six years has illustrated the complexity of this objective, but also its feasibility. With this paper, we present some basic principles of the cadastre for public-law restrictions and some concrete examples. The intention is to invite our francophone colleagues to embrace this extended focus, which is in line with our land information competences and our medium- to long-term duties.
