Polish technical standards concerning the cadastre of real properties

This paper presents the technical standards applicable to the process of modernization of the cadastre of real properties in Poland and related technical procedures that are currently made available by the Main Office of Geodesy and Cartography. The authors discuss the legal bases of the cadastre of real properties, focus on changes to legal regulations in the surroundings of the cadastre and fast changes in the development of physical information that forms the base for the developed technical standards. The paper also discusses the procedures for establishment, modernization and maintenance of the cadastre of real properties and preparation of land survey and cartographic documentation for the purpose of court and administrative proceedings and civil-legal agreements.
