Over the last few years, a review of SOuth Australia's surveying legislation has been carried out by the Surveyor-General. The review culminated in a new Survey Act being passed by Parliament in early April of this year. This paper outlines the contents of the new legislation and identifies opportunities for cadastral reform it presents.
