The SNIT, National System of Territorial Information, currently IDE-Chile, was created to optimize the management of geospatial information in the country, and today coordinates in a permanent way the various participating institutions. The main target of IDE-Chile is that the citizenship and public organizations, in its decision making process could have access to the geospatial information.
