The Danish matricel (cadastre)

Heering, H.T.

With references.

The matricels of real property in Denmark were compiled as a basis for the assessment of rates and taxes, but shortly after coming into force they were adopted as basis for the land registers drafted by the Registrar Offices of rights of property, because every individual property may be safely identified by its matricel designation which refers to the matricel maps on which the plots of the properties are indicated in their proper location in relation to one another.
