The data management factors of land administration in Trinidad and Tobago

Opadeyi, Jacob

The recent developments in information technology has renewed the need for an information-based decision making process. Computerised land/geographic information systems are providing new and exiting means of decision making for land administration practitioners. The systems, however, rely on the availability of complete and up-to-date land related data for their efficient and effective use. The ability to provide these data in digital formats poses technical, financial, and human challenges to land data management in Trinidad and Tobago.
