The economics of precision : a learning theory approach
Luzar, Jane
In the development of geographic information systems, increasing precision often results in increasing cost. Precision may trade of against other features of an information system. This paper identifies characteristics of precision that contribute to value and the eventual supply of more precise information. Concepts borrowed from learning theory are related to the economics of precision for land information systems.
