Earth Observation (EO) data can be a useful way of finding out quickly and regularly what’s happening on the ground in many sectors including Land Administration, Agriculture, Urban Planning, Forestry and Natural Resources management. Currently, cost and availability of imagery can be barriers to the use of EO in smaller scale projects. The bespoke nature of many projects means that the results are sometimes missing a comparative context with earlier scenarios or similar conditions in a different region.
