This work contributes to the study of land use change. It seeks, on the base of data from different sources, to identify the various spatial entities of land use of the littoral band of Togo, to analyse, with the help of geo-processing, the behaviour of thes eurban and rural entities. It carries the thought to the constraints related to the instable character of the basic spatial units in Togo and on the difficulties of integrating all these data in a geographical information system.
