Founded in 1956, Wuhan Technical University of Surveying and Mapping (WTUSM) is a multi-disciplinary university with emphasis on surveying and mapping while encompassing the subjects of optical, electronic, computer, mechanical, printing and civil engineering. It ranks among the key tertiary educational institutions in China and is authorized by the State to enrol Doctor and Master graduate students and accept post-doctoral researchers and international and domestic visiting scholars.
